Hello everyone, today is my birthday! How blessed I feel.

I’m writing this post from my hometown Copán, Honduras; we arrived early this week to spend time with my family for the holidays; Landon has been extremely happy with his grandpa Maco and his cousins.

Today I want to share with you some life lessons I have learned this year, hope you like it and can get something positive of it.

Estoy escribiendo este post desde mi ciudad natal de Copán, Honduras, llegamos temprano esta semana para pasar tiempo con mi familia durante navidad; Landon ha sido extremadamente feliz con su abuelo Maco y sus primos.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas lecciones de vida que he aprendido este año, espero que les guste y puedan obtener algo positivo de ello.

1. The Power of be Different/ El Poder de ser Diferentes:

This year I have met many people from cultures very different from mine; I’m not going to deny that at first, I’m scared but when I give myself the opportunity to interact with people without preconceptions I grow and learn and I’ve noticed that others grow and learn from me too. How beautiful is diversity, how beautiful it is to see each other equally without prejudices of intellect, culture, wealth or poverty, beauty or simplicity.

Este año he conocido muchas personas de culturas muy diferentes a la mia; no voy a negarlo que al principio me da miedo pero cuando me doy la oportunidad de interactuar con las personas sin prejuicios antepuestos crezco y aprendo y me he dado cuenta que los demas crecen y aprenden tambien de mi. Que bella es la diversidad, que bello es vernos por igual sin prejuicios de intelecto, cultura, riqueza o pobreza, belleza o sencillez.

2. Being grateful allows me to help others/El ser agradecida me permiteayudar a otros:

Now that I’m mom, I’ve had the opportunity to meet new moms; knowing their life stories, I have realized that I am very blessed in many aspects; This has made me reflect on how grateful I am to be with God and life; but the most important thing I have learned is that from an attitude of gratitude I can help others with more ease and love and in the end the reward is a heart full of joy and peace.

Ahora que soy mama he tenido la oportunidades de conocer nuevas mamas; al conocer sus historias de vida me he dado cuenta que soy muy bendecida en muchos aspectos y ello me ha hecho reflexionar en lo agradecida que debo estar con Dios y la vida pero lo mas importante que he aprendido es que desde una acitud de agradecimiento puedo ayudar a otros con mas facilidad y amor y al final la recompensa es un corazón rebosante de gozo y paz.

3. There is no better gift than the peace that the truth brings/ hay mejorregaloque la pazquetrae la verdad:

I have listened and read the following for many years during my life “the truth shall make you free”, This year I have learned the great and wonderful scope of that phrase! Being honest, authentic and facing the challenges and mistakes with the truth has filled me with peace, it has freed me of fears and it has made me feel more secure and happy. with myself.

He escuchado y leido lo siguiente por muchos años durante mi vida “la verdad siempre nos hara libres”, Este año he aprendido el alcance tan grande y maravilloso de esa frase! Ser honesta, autentica y enfrentar los desafios y errores con la verdad me ha llenado de paz, me ha liberado de miedos y me ha hecho sentir mas segura y feliz.

4.Don’t stop dreaming/ No parar de soñar:

In the last years, life has surprised me with a lot of changes, most of them good and positive, for which I give thanks to life; I’ve always been a dreamer, as a child I dreamed and played with being a TV host, today I do something very similar by making videos on YouTube, transmitting my ideas of fashion and beauty. Dream big that you can become everything you want.

En los ultimos años la vida me ha sorprendido con mucho cambios, la mayoria buenos y positivos por lo cual doy gracias a la vida; siempre he sido una persona soñadora, de niña soñaba y jugaba con ser conductora de TV hoy dia hago algo muy similar haciendo videos en youtube, transmitiendo mis ideas de moda y belleza.  sueña en grande y actua que puedes llegar a ser todo lo que deseas.

5. The family, the treasure of my life/La familia el tesoro de mi vida:

Today in the morning my father knocks on the door of my room and gives me some beautiful flowers (see them in my stories;)) What a treasure I have, My family; a father and a mother who love me without conditions, accept me as I am and fill me with so much love; and now with my little Kade who is so loving, I have even more love; every morning he fills me with hugs and kisses and in the end he always says “Mom, MAS!” I do not need anything else to be happy because nothing compares to being surrounded by so much love.

Hoy por la mañana mi padre toca la puerta de mi cuarto y me entrego unas hermosas flores ( veanlas en mis stories 😉 ) Que tesoro tan grande que poseo, Mi familia un padre y una madre que me aman sin condiciones, me aceptan como soy y me llenan de tanto amor; y ahora le sumo a mi pequeño Kade que es tan amoroso! cada mañana me llena de abrazos y besos y al final siempre me dice “Mamá, MAS!” No necesito nada mas para ser feliz pues nada se compara a estar rodeada de tanto tanto amor.
